The St George of Bilbao English brand originated from the college in Leioa, where over the past 50 years the English school has developed an enviable reputation not only for its academic success but also for methodology, character building ethos and attention to detail. Much of these fundamental building blocks from the bases upon which the St George’s English academies are founded.
The first English Academy was founded in 2004 on the Leioa campus. Taking advantage of the extensive facilities and picturesque gardens, the academy rapidly developed into one of Bilbao’s leading English language academies. Today the Academy boasts more than 1000 students and 30 native English speaking teachers.
